Re: Problems with Datapass and Google Account becoming disabled on Slate 10 inch

Hi

We have purchased 20 HP slate 10's for our business, so we can have inter store communications via email without having to install a load of infrastructure such phone lines dsl etc.

We are in the uk And we are sing the fogg datapass, this gives us 250mb data  month which is fine for a few dozen emails.

However we have set each tablet up with a gmail account, for email, contacts and managing the tablet also to give us the location services and secure the data on them.

Howvere the gmail accounts keep locking out, we have tried everything, we have enabled two step verification, we have enabled device specific passwords, to no avail every single day 2-6 tablets will lock out and have there account disabled.

The google support forums tend be blaming the fogg datapass as it seems that this passes through random proxys around europe hence google sees the traffic coming from different locations and locks the tablets out.

Howvere I just dont know.

Im at my whits end here and our company is probably looking to return the tablets and go with Microsoft and large lumias or surfaces............ Its a shame as we were going to invest in chrombooks with datapass but they dont seem compatible with Googles security settings..
