Re: Were I can buy HP Slate 7 4601 Micro USB DC Charging Port Cable

Do you mean the cable seperately or the complete power adapter?

You can purchase the complete power adapter from http://www.shopping.hp.com./ Select tablets and then tablet adapters

You can use most cel phone micro usb cables. I use the cable from my Samsung phone once in a while. You can probably buy one at any cel phone shop or even a WalMart.

Re: Slate 6 Default Sim

Hi Paul1762, welcome to the HP Forums. I do not see an option to set a default SIM as you requested. It looks like you have to select each time: Making and Receiving Phone Calls

I am not sure if there is a 3rd party App out there that might give you that option, but it might be worth a look.

screen brightness

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Have you tried not using the "Auto" setting in the Brightness adjustment?   Deselect it, then set the brightness to a comfortable level.

Re: Slatebook x2 Not Powering

Hi, we just got out new slatebook x2 from HP.  We connected it to power using the adapter.  It started with a red light, which after a few hours became white.  When pressing the power button an icon appears in the middle of the screen indicating a los battery and then disappears.  I have tried a few times after unplugging the adapter and various other iterations – no luck.

Should we just return it or is there an easy fix?

Thanks!

Hi LayDee, welcome to the HP Forums. If the WiFi won't authenticate, you can refer to this thread with the same issue and several projected solutions.

My new HP Slate 8 Pro will not connect to wifi

Let me know what you try, and how it turns out.
