Haven't heard anything from HP yet!
I have found a quick, not very intuitive, way to fix the wifi issue each time it happens but it's not a satisfactory long term fix for the problem. Here's what I do:
When my wifi does not reconnect after waking the Slatebook 14, the following steps have worked consistently for me:
1- Turn on airplane mode, either with the icon in the pulldown menu or with the airplane key. This turns off wifi.
2- Press the settings key (5th from the left, top row)
3- Click the wifi switch to the on position.
That's it! Three actions and wifi returns.
What's weird with the 3 steps above is that the wifi comes back on and the airplane icon is still in the status bar in the top right. But the wifi is working. Go figure.
